《MegaBonk》開發者退出TGA「最佳首秀獨立遊戲獎」認為自己不符合提名資格

今年 9 月在 Steam 推出廣獲好評的動作肉鴿遊戲《MegaBonk》，開發者 vedinad 在今（19）日宣布退出「最佳首秀獨立遊戲」（Best Debut Indie）提名，理由是他自認為不符合提名資格，而這項請求已被主辦單位獲准。

《MegaBonk》是由獨立遊戲開發者 Vedinad 打造的動作 Roguelike 遊戲，其玩法被稱作《雨中冒險》與《吸血鬼倖存者》結合，高毒性的耐玩度在 Steam 獲得極度好評口碑，上市兩週銷量便突破百萬套。

不過，Vedinad 透過 X 發表表明願退出「最佳首秀獨立遊戲」獎項的提名，理由是他闡述自己曾以不同的工作室名義推出過其他遊戲，因此《MegaBonk》並非是他的「首款遊戲」，願意讓賢給更更加優秀的作品。

雖然 Vedinad 在 Steam 帳號底下只有一款遊戲，但據外媒報導，Vedinad 的身份一直受到外界猜測，有人猜測他是曾推出過諧仿魷魚遊戲《Crab Game》的 YouTube 實況主「Dani」（又名danidev）。

在 Vedinad 提出請願後，TGA 主辦人 Geoff Keighley 公開回應感謝他的坦誠，並將《MegaBonk》移出「最佳首秀獨立遊戲」獎項的提名。

目前「最佳首秀獨立遊戲」獎項將由 4 款遊戲角逐，分別是《藍途王子》（Blue Prince）、《光與影：33號遠征隊》（Clair Obscur: Expedition 33）、《Despelote》與《Dispatch》。

今年的 TGA 大獎將於美國當地時間 12 月 11 日揭曉。
